All-Day Trips
Depart Saturdays, 9:00 A.M. – Romney, WV
July 25, September 26*
All-Day Trains depart from Romney at 9:00 AM and travel south through the Trough to Moorefield & Petersburg. The trains will then return to Romney at approximately 5:00 PM. Photo opportunities are planned along with a mid-day rest stop in Petersburg. The September 26 trip is our Hardy Heritage Days and Historic Homes Tour. All of the all-day trips run on days that Country Store Opry is playing at the Bottle Works in Romney (shows start at 7:00 PM)
Independence Day Fireworks Special - July 4, 6:00 PM
Depart - Moorefield, WV
A Potomac Eagle tradition, the 2009 Fourth of July train will load at 6:00 PM in Moorefield, WV and depart at 6:30 PM.
Loy Foundation Special Trains
These special trips may feature live music, or murder mysteries, wine tasting, and more. Ticket fare of $75 per passenger will benefit the Loy Foundation, which operates The Bottling Works, and ongoing projects for the community. This is a great opportunity to gather a group of friends for something different and fun! These special trains will will accommodate a limited number of passengers and reservations will be sold on first-come, first-served basis.

Sat September 26, 9:00 AM - Depart Romney, WV
Historic Homes Tour - One historic home tour, then a stop at the Crafts and Quilts show. Moorefield Trough excursion. Home tour included with ticket purchase.
October Fall Foliage Trips
Depart Romney, WV
Weekdays (October 6 - 27): Regular 3.5-hour trips daily from Romney feature fall foliage in the Trough. Monday through Friday, 11:30 AM departure.
Weekends: Regular 3-hour trips daily from Romney feature fall foliage in the Trough. Check the Calendar for specific times.
Railroad Photo Special - November 1
Depart Romney, WV, 10:00 AM (to Green Spring and return)
Depart Romney, WV, 1:00 PM (to Moorefield and return)
The photo special will depart Romney northbound to Green Spring, and return to Romney around 12:30 PM. At 1PM the train will continue south to Moorefield, and return to Romney. (usually between 5:00 and 6:00 PM). Several photo stops will take place, weather permitting. Ride either trip - or both - for the 3-hour ticket price.
Entire Railroad Special - November 7
Depart Petersburg, WV, 9:00 AM
The "Whole Railroad" special will depart Petersburg, and run over the entire railroad to Green Spring, WV and return (usually between 5:00 and 6:00 PM). Several photo stops will take place, weather permitting.
Christmas Train Trips
Depart Moorefield, WV: Dec 4 & 5, departing 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM
